Set in the hills of Amapas, Casa Encantadora, is a beautiful hacienda styled condo with two master suites, offering breathtaking views from just about everywhere in the condo, yet you are a short ten minute walk to the famous Playa de Los Muertos and all of the restaurants and art galleries that call Puerto Vallarta home.

Vista Amapas, Unit 4, or Casa Encantadora, as we have lovingly named our unit, is a beautiful hacienda styled condo with two master suites in the hills of Amapas, offering breathtaking views from just about everywhere in the condo. The condo lies just above the city and is only a 10 minute walk to the famous Los Muertos beach and all of the restaurants and art galleries that call Puerto Vallarta home.

As you enter Vista Amapas through the entry gate, notice the intercom system that can be used if you have a taxi meeting you or friends stopping by. Head down a couple of levels and as you pass through the condo gate, notice the kitchen window to your right and have your first glance of the unit and the breathtaking view through the kitchen.

Entering the unit through the front door will bring you to a short entry hallway before you arrive at the fully-equipped kitchen on your right. The kitchen features a full size range, oven, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, and toaster oven, and all of the kitchen amenities that you’ll want should you choose to cook during your stay. While the complex is equipped with a water filtration system, we also provide water service. The washer and dryer are located in the attached utility room just off the kitchen and are available for your use.

On the kitchen island, you’ll notice a phone, which is hooked up to the intercom system at the top entry point.

Master Suite #1 is adjacent to the kitchen featuring a four post queen sized bed with a beautiful quilt and plenty of colorful pillows, a small chest of drawers, a desk with additional drawers, a ceiling fan with light, the en-suite bathroom, and a walk-in master closet which houses the safe and iron/ironing board. The bedroom does have its own balcony. The en-suite bathroom is decked out in blue tile and adorned with a custom made stained glass window. New towels fill the shelves and a hair dryer can be found in the cabinet.

Walking back out to the hallway past the kitchen and to the left, you’ll come to Master Suite #2, which offers epic views out over the outdoor patio to the mountains and city from anywhere in the room. Master Suite #2 offers a double bed, armoire with drawers, ceiling fan with light, a private balcony, access to the private outdoor terrace, and of course, the en-suite bathroom with lovely green tile.

Leaving Master Suite #2, you will find yourself in the dining area, a large round table with four stately chairs set under a bold chandelier all facing a large mirror. This area is perfect for a meal in or planning the activities for the following day.

Venture into the living room where you’ll find a large sofa, large coffee table with a guidebook for the area, and a 42” flat screen Roku TV offering cable TV and Netflix. The wireless router and telephone for local calls are also located here. Two extra-large chairs face the window creating a sitting area perfect for enjoying the evening fireworks, or taking in the afternoon view after a full day of exploring.

Just to the left of the sitting area is an additional access point to the private terrace with beautiful tropical plants, offering a patio table that seats two and a lounge chair perfect for an afternoon spent with a good book. A weber gas grill is also available on the terrace for your grilling pleasure.

Just one level down from the condo is the swimming pool, which has similar stunning views of the bay, is well-kept with beautiful tropical plants, lounge chairs, and a small outdoor kitchen and table for four that live under a Palapa. A perfect location for your days in the sun or evenings under the stars.

From the pool area, continue down the stairs, taking a right after stepping off of the circular staircase, and then keep left to make your way to the bottom entry gate. Here, you can continue down to the beach. It is a beautiful walk down the stairs and a short walk down into Zona Romantico or the Los Muertos Beach.

The well-maintained building has security gates and cameras, an intercom system, and plenty of parking. Additionally, complimentary maid service is provided once a week.

WiFi is accessible and reliable throughout the condo, and even accessible when at the pool!

The location of the building is ideal, since you are close enough to walk to everything, yet just far enough away from it all to be peaceful and relaxing. Taxis are plentiful and inexpensive, and are always available to take you anywhere you wish to go.

Casa Encantadora is the perfect retreat for your stay in Puerto Vallarta, whether it is for a few days, weeks, or months.

You'll have access to the condo less a couple of owner's closets, the pool area, and both entrances in and out of the complex, as well as a parking spot, should you choose to rent a car.

We live in the states, but have a wonderful property manager who will meet you at the condo and will be available should you need anything or have any questions. Of course, we are available for any questions!

Casa Encantadora is set in the hills of Amapas around Puerto Vallarta. It's a short walk to the Zona Romantico and beautiful beaches. Los Muertos Beach and the restaurants and art galleries of Puerto Vallarta are within a 10-minute walk.

We love to walk and depending on our destination, will pick up a bus. Buses stop rather often and their destination is usually listed on the windshield, although most bus drivers are happy to let you know if they are the correct bus. Buses are a 7 peso fee anywhere you want to go in the city.

A car can be nice depending on what you would like to see, but if this is your first visit or you will only be in town for a short time, enjoy all the city has to offer and walk, take the bus, or a taxi.
